Youth Program Summary
Our philosophy is summed up by the following needs children and youth have:
- The need for independence and to be in control of their own decisions.
- The need to feel competent and successful.
- The need to belong.
- The need to have fun and find pleasure in what they do.
As instructors and role models, we strive to do the following with each child, during every interaction:
- Have lots of contagious and enthusiastic energy in the form of smiles and animation. Have great teaching skills including speaking at their level, running drills effectively and efficiently, and always having Plan B available.
- Utilize our structured curriculum to build skills.
- Have a great sense of humor that everyone can enjoy that is not insulting or harmful.
- Incorporate entertainment with education for maximum positive atmosphere.
- Acknowledge the psychological characteristics of both the age group and the individual child. Then, most importantly, adapt our behaviors to be the most effective for that child or group of children. Drills are developed according to the following criteria:
- Life skill we are focusing on

Wisdom of Success Intensive training
This intensive ONE DAY training is not the physical training we do in the dojo. It is the training that is at the heart of martial arts, personal growth and discovery.
In this intensive you will learn about the patterns that successful people have, what they think and what they do. You will also discover your patterns, those that sabotage you and those that propel you toward your dreams, and before you leave you will create an action plan for creating the life you desire.
The experience is usually $695. But your investment for this particular event is only $79!
You may attend either Saturday July 19 or Sunday July 20 at Polo Fields Golf and Country Club off Zeeb R. south of I-94.
